Bardolino Superiore Docg

Bardolino Superiore is the last docg taken over by Veneto. Veneto is not only famous for devoting most of its territory to viticulture, but also for the quality of its wines. In fact, this region counts two Docgs, 19 Docs, 9 Igts, in addition to a wide choice of wine typologies: strong red wines, raisin wines and sparkling wines. The Bardolino grape variety can be found everywhere in Veneto, particularly on hilly plots and the plains close to Lake Garda, except in mountainous areas where the climate is not favourable for the ripening of the grapes. Bardolino Superiore Docg is a red table wine.

Consumption

Bardolino Superiore Docg goes well with Prosciutto veneto, soppressa vicentina, Asiago cheese, Piave cheese and Turkey with pomegranate. It should be served in Bordeaux glasses at a temperature of 16-18° C.
