French bean packets with Calabria Bacon

Preparation

Clean the French beans removing the "threads". Bring a pan with abundant water to the boil. When boiling add the beans and boil for a few minutes. Remove from the pan still slightly underdone and quickly cool.
Group the French beans into eight bunches. Wrap each bunch with a slice of Calabria Bacon tying with a stalk of knotted chives. Butter an oven dish and lay the packets in it. Add salt. Sprinkle with pepper and cover with the melted butter.
Pass in a preheated oven at 170° 10 minutes before serving.
