The Organization's activities
The CCIAA (Chamber of Commerce) in Rome was appointed to monitor the protecteddenomination of origin olive oil "Sabina," and provide certificationfor the following aspects: the origin of production, the production andprocessing process, and the final product. Those wishing to begin thecertification procedure may contact the Agriculture Sector of the CCIAA inRome, viale dell'Oceano Indiano 19 - 0144 Rome; the protection Consortium"CO.TO.S.", via Ottaviano di Giuseppe 7 - Corese Terra (Rieti) -telephone 0765/39763; the Olive Producers Associations; and the leadingorganizations in the sector. Any cancellation or variation regarding both thesurface and the ownership, must be communicated to the CCIAA in Rome. The forms anddocumentation required differ depending on the application, variation andcancellation, and are described in the downloadable attachments in the section"modelli & allegati-formsand attachments" on the Rome Chamber of Commerce website. The offices areopen from Monday to Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to3:00 p.m.
